Events

At The Together Space, we believe healing grows through connection, creativity, and community. Our events for women survivors range from quiet, restorative spaces to community gatherings focused on advocacy and fundraising.

Whether you're seeking support, sharing your story, or standing in solidarity, there’s a place for you here. All events are free and open to any woman who wants to attend.

What does 'women' mean at The Together Space?

When we refer to "women," we warmly welcome anyone who identifies with the experience of being a woman, including trans women and non-binary people who feel connected to women's spaces.

Are your events only for survivors?

Not at all. While survivor voices and needs are always centered, our events are open to allies too. Everyone has a role to play in creating a more compassionate, informed world — and showing up matters.

What kind of events do you run?

We host community-based, movement-friendly events like yoga classes, walking groups, clothing sales, and creative fundraisers. All of them are designed to raise awareness, build community, and fund the work we do at The Together Space.

Do your events offer support or therapy?

No, our events aren’t therapy spaces. While they’re designed to be gentle, inclusive, and trauma-aware, they’re not a substitute for professional support. We do this to honour both the safety of attendees and the purpose of the event: connection and collective care.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Our events are built to be welcoming, soft, and easy to engage with, whether you come solo or with a friend.

How do your events help support survivors?

Our events exist to raise funds, advocate for survivor voices, and build genuine community. They’re about connection, not performance — a way to come together in support of healing, justice, and long-term change.

How much do events cost?

Many of our events are pay-what-you-can, with all proceeds going toward our projects — like resource creation, care kits, and community education. If cost is a barrier, we’ll always try to make space. Your presence matters.
